If you are having surgery to your shoulder, arm or hand/s please remove any rings as your fingers may swell.
Please remove nail polish on fingers and toes.
You are advised to shower and wash your hair prior to admission.
On the day of surgery; please do not apply deodorant, talc, moisturiser or skin products unless otherwise instructed.
Please do not apply make up the day of surgery.
Please arrange for someone to drive you to Hospital and collect you when ready for discharge. You are not permitted by law to drive a motor vehicle the day of your anaesthetic.
If you have any special dietary requirements or requests, please discuss these with your nurse on your admission.
