Your child's comfort and well-being are important to us. We recognise that surgical procedures are a big event in a child's life. Visiting the hospital before admission to familiarise your child with the surroundings may be a good idea. If you would like to do this, please contact the hospital to arrange a convenient time.
Parents are encouraged to stay overnight with their child at no additional cost. We ask that the parent staying is able to provide active support for their child, in partnership with the nursing staff.
Complimentary refreshments are provided. Meals (for parents) are also available at a small charge.
If your child has a favourite toy or comforter they should bring this with them.
